Papa Paolo is a game where players run their pizzeria and must satisfy their hungry customers in Naples by delivering as many pizzas as possible.

The game lasts five rounds. Players have some actions to choose from and plan, such as investing in new pizzerias, making express deliveries, getting sponsored by the bank or expanding their district. After they have used all their action tokens, they get rewarded by receiving Lira. They may use this reward in a bidding phase to determine how many deliveries they can make or how many pizzas they can deliver. When they have delivered pizzas to their hungry customers, their abilities get upgraded, so they have more powerful actions to perform during the rest of the game.
