Good morning gamers,
More previews are coming out in anticipation of SPIEL 2016. One such game is Inis (pronounced Inish), a Celtic-themed game in development for a few years now, designed by Christian Martinez and first made an appearance at SPIEL 2014 under the title Brenn. Players compete to become king of the island using a combination of deck building, area cont old and bluffing. The game had a lot of buzz from its initial appearance years ago, expect that buzz to build after this weekend.
The second edition of Mansions of Madness has become one of the most talked about games of the year, incorporating an iPad app into its already immersive gameplay. So Fantasy Flight Games has naturally developed an expansion to be released this winter. Beyond the Threshold brings more investigators, a new creature, and more scenarios to the already packed game of terror. Read more…
Steamforged has been looking to get more gamers to check out their innovative-yet-overwhelming miniatures game Guild Ball, so they have developed a simpler two-player starter set called Kick Off! which offers a smaller scale version of the game at a fraction of the price. You can find Guild Ball: Kick Off! on shelves in November.
