Thematic Overview

In Too Many Bones: Undertow you journey down the Sibron River with 2 new playable characters and try to uncover the truth about the various incidents that are happening throughout the land.

Game Overview

After the huge success of the original “Too many Bones” comes the “Undertow”, which is a standalone sequel and expansion to TMB for 1-2 players. If you also have the core box you can add more heroes to make the game up to 4 players. This co-operative experience has unique twists and turns, mini-games, endless character customization and strategic decision making.

TMB is a dice builder RPG which means that you use dice the whole time for skills, attacks etc. The basic framework of the game is:

  1. Choose a character
  2. Choose a boss and set the encounter deck
  3. Draw an encounter
  4. Battle or not
  5. Collect loot
  6. Customize your character and recover
  7. Advance the Day counter and draw another encounter
  8. Fight the Tyrant at the end

The kickstarter campaign is already a success by offering the game at a very discounted price with high quality components. There have been also unlocked many stretch goals and there are many add-ons for you to choose from. Moreover, you can get the original TMB from this campaign along with the expansion. The shipping costs are high because of the size of the game, but if you consider the already discounted price and all the stretch goals, they are well justified. Whether you want to expand your world of TMB or start from zero, you can find more information about this awesome game on Kickstarter!
