RuneWars: Miniatures Game
RuneWars: Miniature Game is a 2-player miniatures game set in the vibrant fantasy realm of Terrinoth. The forces of the undead crossed into the realm of Terrinoth under Waiqar’s command and now the Daqan Lords have to gather the finest warriors to defend against this terrifying threat. The players will choose between those two factions and have an epic fight for the realm!
An interesting part of the game is the customization options for your army, as you can choose each unit’s width or depth of formation, assign them upgrade cards in order to give them unique abilities and some more very tactical options. The game comes with a very innovative command mechanic for the units, as each unit has its own unique pair of dials that will let you determine each unit’s action. Finally, its movement system is quite similar to Star Wars: X Wing and it is pretty accurate, something that is often a problem in miniatures game.
The game contains 48 high quality sculpted, unpainted figures. It seems to bring some fresh ideas to the genre with high quality and lots of extra content as FFG always bring some expansions for their games.
