The Edge: Dawnfall – The New Competitive Miniature Game
The Edge: Dawnfall is a miniature game of battle with a great deal of competitive gameplay. It can be played in three different modes: in a player versus player battle, in a cooperative mode and in a solo mode.
The game is set in the complex, rich universe of The Edge, where there is no good and evil, just survival and conflicting interests of each faction. There are six asymmetric factions in the game, each one with their own sets of units, spells and skills, as well as back stories and customization options. It offers a rich campaign story mode and can be played on two levels, thus on two boards: the economic/political map of the world and the Conflict Board Game for resolving battles. The story scenarios will take you deep into this universe, and it is through these scenarios that you will have to make some hard decisions which will have consequences later on in the game.
The Edge: Dawnfall has been designed by Michal Oracz, also known for Neuroshima Hex and Cry Havoc. It is due for release in 2017.
