Rising 5: Runes of Asteros is a cooperative puzzle board game of adventure and exploration, which is supported by a digital application.

The Rising 5 is a group of talented agents, who are sent to fight against evil powers and save the Asteros planet. The game features a simple action card system for you to control your heroes and explore the world. As you advance in the game, you will decipher the ancient runes and manage to seal the Gate. The Gate is managed by the app, which introduces a new puzzle for you to solve every time you play, along with clues throughout the game. You will play action cards, move your characters, fight monsters and collect relics, in an attempt to get closer to the solution of the puzzle.

When you have set up the board of the game, you will have to activate the app by taking a photo of the runes that have been laid on the board. Then, it will provide you with the first clue needed in order to seal the gate. It will show you four astrological symbols, each one of which is related to the runes, and you will have to determine whether they are correct or not. Your goal is to turn all those symbols golden by uncovering the right runes and putting them in the right place. If you do so, you have succeeded in sealing the gate and saving Asteros.

But be careful! You must seal the gate before the Eclipse tracker reaches the Red Moon symbol or before the action cards run out. Seal the gate as fast as you can and prevent the fall of Asteros.

Rising 5: Runes of Asteros has been running on Kickstarter and it has already reached its funding goal. It is expected to be available in 2017.

I am a Web Developer and I ‘ve been wandering in the world of board games for about 10 years now. I’m really excited to have created this website with the woman I love (Ireth), since board games are our mutual hobby. I feel blessed to have found people to work with, that share common goals and dreams with me! We want to create something beautiful for the board gaming community, which will co-exist and play along with the games that come out. I would call this website a game for all board games!
