Tales of a dungeon is a cooperative game for 2 to 5 players, from 8 years old and over, for games of 30 min to 2 hours. It is a card game located in a medieval-fantastic universe, with a 2D horizontal scrolling dungeon system.

The player (s) will have to navigate the dungeon killing monsters, and, at the end of each level, they will have to face a guardian before winning or moving to the next floor.

Tales of a dungeon uses simple mechanics to be able to introduce the youngest to this type of game and to be able to quickly start a game with beginner players. It is played with cards, 6-sided dice and some wooden cubes. The game mechanics are: Success roll for the dungeon and a Roll and Keep system for bosses.

In tales of a dungeon, you will be able to play as five various race of heroes from the gnomette to the half ogre.

The originality is to be able to juxtapose and stack the cards to obtain different effects, such as modifying the dungeon rooms, upgrading your weapons or increasing the size of the bosses.
