Epoch: Early Inventors – The Beginning of Civilization

Epoch: Early Inventors is a game in which you are clan leaders and you must search the landscape, so as to discover new technologies and tools, trade products with other players and make offers to holy places. The player with the highest status at the end of the game is the winner.

In your turn, you can choose among different actions, such as finding food, fishing, hunting, collect raw materials or explore cards. The last action adds to your status and it also allows more cards to be developed. By using your cards as well as your opponents’ cards in a strategic way, you try to make offers to as many holy places as possible, increasing your status even more.

Epoch: Early Inventors includes an X-shaped modular board consisting of hexagonal tiles, each one of which has three components, terrain type (color), cost and the benefit that it gives. It is a game of exploration with euro elements and it requires a well-developed strategy.
