Skyward – Welcome to the Floating City

Skyward is a strategy card drafting game, set in a world with a floating city and a colorful sky scape.

The four factions had been at loggerheads with each other for hundreds of years. However, they have now decided to put their differences aside and work in unison, so as to build a better tomorrow. As a commitment to this new alliance, they are combining their strengths in order to build Skyward, the world’s first airborne city, which will rise above the point where the four empires meet.

You play as luminaries that the factions have appointed to help build the airborne city and you compete against each other, so that in the end one of you will be recorded in history as the Founder of Skyward.

The Warden deals cards from the central deck and splits them into piles in any way they assume to be right. Each player chooses a pile, providing them with buildings and resources. However, even though the Warden possesses the power of the split, they get to receive what is left of the piles, since everyone else picks first.

The goal of the game is to make a combination of buildings that award the most Victory points. Use your connections with the four factions and influence as Warden and get your name attached to the biggest and best buildings of Skyward!
